1. National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com Waiver of Liability

When you submit your project details and provide your contact information to the National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com, you will be matched with an online list of contractors in your area, if any, who may be interested in working on your project and who will contact you directly. However, we do not guarantee that we will be able to match your request with suitable contractors, if any.

Although we attempt to verify the credentials of our member contractors, we make no guarantees nor endorsements regarding the skills or the quality of the job that the contractor(s) may perform for you if you hire them.

National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com does not endorse or recommend the services of any particular contractor. It is entirely up to you to enter into a direct contract or otherwise reach agreement with a contractor, and we do not guarantee or warrant their performance on the job or the outcome or quality of the services performed.

The contractors affiliated with National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com are not employees or agents of National Contractors Rating Bureau or TrueBlueContractors.com, nor is National Contractors Rating Bureau or TrueBlueContractors.com an agent of the contractors. National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com does not perform, and is not responsible for, any of the services requested by you in your project submission or via your Directory search.

When you enter into a contract with any contractor, your rights are governed by the terms of that contract and by applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws. Should you have a dispute with any contractor, you must address the dispute with the contractor or the contractor’s representatives directly.

BY USING THE NATIONAL CONTRACTORS RATING BUREAU AND TRUEBLUECONTRACTORS.COM SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE NATIONAL CONTRACTORS RATING BUREAU AND TRUEBLUECONTRACTORS.COM (AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) AND ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR ENTITY FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES OR CLAIMS (INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES) OF EVERY KIND OR NATURE, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, AND DISCLOSED OR UNDISCLOSED, IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR DEALINGS WITH CONTRACTORS.

2. Feedback & Rating Policy

Consumers who employ the services of contractors listed on TrueBlueContractors.com are encouraged to submit feedback and ratings of the contractors’ performance. Only those who have hired a contractor can submit feedback and ratings for that contractor.

National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com makes no claim to verifying the authenticity or accuracy of any feedback and ratings before it is published to its website. National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com will not edit feedback and ratings in any way other than to correct spelling mistakes and blatant grammatical errors. National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueCOntractors.com has the discretion to remove feedback and ratings that includes foul or vulgar language. Notwithstanding, National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com reserves the right to add, change or remove feedback and ratings at any time. National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com are not responsible for the contents of feedback and ratings or ratings posted to any contractor's profile.

A copy of your feedback and ratings(s) may be sent to the contractor you have reviewed. The contractor has the opportunity to post their rebuttal when receiving unfavorable feedback and ratings.

Consumers should be careful to only post accurate statements about their experience with their contractors, as slander and libel laws are designed to protect people/companies from feedback and ratings misuse.

A consumer can post only one feedback and rating per contractor per job, although consumer can edit their feedback and ratings upon further reflection. All changes will be subject to the same review process as new feedback and ratings.

3. Privacy Policy

National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com are committed to protecting your privacy. Data collected is for the sole purpose of matching homeowners to contractors. Outside of our network of contractors, we will not sell, trade, or rent personal information to a third party without your permission. We may send you offers through email or otherwise which we deem relevant to you. You, at any time, may request to no longer receive such offers, at which time you will be removed from the list of offers.

In the course of using the services provided by National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com, you will be prompted to provide information about yourself and your project details. Some of this information will be sent to contractors who will need this information in order to respond to you (or to other persons or entities) in connection with your project. By providing this information to us, you are requesting, and you expressly consent to being contacted by us and by our member contractors in order to provide the services you requested, to service your account, to address matters pertaining to your account or to your project or project submission, or for other purposes related to our business.

National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com does not control the privacy policy of third parties who batch or transfer information to our service. A third party may have a privacy policy that is different from that of National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com. In these instances, data that you submit to our service via a third party may be shared by that party.

National Contractors Rating Bureau and TrueBlueContractors.com may provide marketing statistics to reputable third parties without disclosing contact information or any personally identifying information. National Contractors Rating Bureau's TreuBlueContractors.com collects information though the use of cookies to determine the effectiveness of our site and to enhance your experience with us.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy 

If a prospective contractor member does not pass the screening and background check, they will be refunded all but $125.00 which is the cost of the screening and background check. Members who cancel within 72 hours of approval will receive a full refund less the $125.00 screening charge, any processing fees such as credit card fees, and any service fees already concluded such as finished inspections. Since membership and services are annual, no refunds will be awarded after 72 hours. If a member is canceled by NCRB for cause (see Professional Code of Conduct) after 72 hours, no refund will be awarded.
